Absolutely fantastic food,probably the best cafe in the area!. Very reasonably priced,friendly staff,the food was superb. The mine was also brilliant and really informative and the tours are run by retired miners;you don’t get more authentic than that!.

This is a little gem of a cafe. Bedside the fantastic views, the staff were all lovely, helpful and cheerful. The food very tasty, well presented and great value for money. Would highly recommend paying a visit.

Best cafe in Cornwall! We got there at 9am and got the window seat overlooking the Atlantic. The staff are really friendly and the food is delicious and reasonably priced. We enjoyed it so much we came back for a cream tea after visiting Geevor mine. Highly recommend grabbing a good breakfast here before walking the local coastal paths to the mines. Couldn’t recommend enough.

This latest review was done after a visit to the cafe, over the may day weekend. Two if us attended the cafe as we have done many times in the past to find all but one table was either in use or "reserved" it was breakfast time on a Sunday morning (930am) so this was not expected. I asked the staff who said that Sundays have become a busy day with walkers wanting to visit and as a consequence they now reserve the tables. This is done by calling the phone number on the website, the tables are numbered so if you know where you want to sit this is helpful. I would always try for a window seat as the view itself can be worth the visit. The food was again all as local as possible and tasted great. However on this occasion the soda bread appeared to have been replaced with an alternative and not as nice. The breakfast came with a drink but when I ordered mine as its table service I was not reminded of this and was therefore charged for the large coffee (standard included)

My family of four just visited the Geevor mine, which was enjoyed by all; kids liked the mine and panning for minerals. The cafe was excellent; a good friendly service and tremendous amounts of good quality reasonably priced food. One of the best. A great view of the ocean included.

Amazing Easter treats just before the first lockdown. Really was fantastic and hoping they will be back for 2021.

Excellent food well priced and big portions. A little warm due to the huge windows overlooking the sea. Many other nearby venues could learn from the approach here.
